Hey objectief is zwaar, vooral als je de lens in zilver hebt. Deze is geheel uit messing gemaakt. De zwarte variant is lichter. Ik heb geen problemen gehad met het objectief op een statief. Het ligt er misschien aan wat voor een statief je gebruikt ook natuurlijk.

Hi Jip, mag ik vragen wat jouw ervaring is met dit objectief als je vanaf statief werkt, en dan specifiek of er sprake is van kanteling naar voren vanwege het gewicht van het objectief tov de camera? Bvd!

Hello Milan,

Thanks for replying to my article, yes I am a 100% sure that the silver version weighs 460 grams, and the black version weighs 335 grams, so it is more than a 100 grams heavier. Why is it heavier I hear you ask, the black version is made mostly of black anodized aluminum, where as the silver chrome version is made mostly of solid silver chromed bras. I hope this helps!

Thank you for sharing your experience. Are you sure the silver version of the summilux 50 mm is heavier than the black one? I checked on a few sites that sell the lenses and they don’t mention any weight difference… Best, M.

Of course!

It’s a vintage ‘Bilora Biloret’ it’s made in Germany. You can find them on eBay. Be careful to make sure it has the right screw size!

great write up. this is my favorite lens. flexible, light and smaller than the Nocti. amazing for portraits too. Its on my camera most of the time.

I very much agree about the 35mm Summicron M ASPH. It’s a fantastic lens, and a LOT less money that the 35 lux.

Hey John, I think you should get the 50 Summilux-M first, the 35 is very different. I’ve got the 35mm Summicron-M ASPH. And love it. Don’t need the depth of field as much with the 35. Wouldn’t say no to a 35 lux though. :)

The 50LUX ASPH is indeed an outstanding lens.#As I sold my Nocti 0.95, I need a replacement, and I’m not sure to get this 50mm or the 35mm FLE Lux…
